A Bit About Me
Becoming a pelvic floor therapist was never in my original plan. It all started when I received numerous referrals from men in New York City looking for pelvic floor physical therapy. It became evident that there was a significant gap in this specialized service, particularly when it came to having a male therapist available to treat male patients.
Hey there, I'm Amged Gad, PT, DPT, a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. My journey in the world of Men’s Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy has been driven by a deep passion and eagerness to address a critical gap in healthcare—men's health, particularly the often sensitive issues men face. Over the course of more than 5 years, I've honed my skills and expertise in helping men understand their bodies and providing professional guidance in resolving pelvic floor issues.
My approach to physical therapy goes beyond just treating symptoms; it's about optimizing the entire human body as a linked mechanical system. I believe in looking at the bigger picture, examining how our bodies work as a whole to effectively address biomechanical dysfunctions.
At the core of my practice is client-centered care. I'm committed to ensuring that anyone who seeks my services receives the highest quality, evidence-based treatment available. My career has been dedicated to specializing in pelvic floor issues affecting men. I'm on a mission to break the stigma surrounding discussions of pelvic pain in men. I've created a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where men can comfortably seek help, ask questions, and receive personalized, tailored treatment.
Walking the journey alongside my patients is a true honor for me. Witnessing the remarkable transformations in the lives of the men I serve, as well as their families, is what motivates me every day. I'm dedicated to making a positive impact and helping men lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
