Meet the Therapist

Amged Gad, PT. DPT.

My journey in the world of Men’s Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy has been driven by a deep passion and eagerness to address a critical gap in healthcare—men's health, particularly the often sensitive issues men face. Over the course of more than 5 years, I've honed my skills and expertise in helping men understand their bodies and providing professional guidance in resolving pelvic floor issues.

Our Story

Our story began in 2024 with a focused mission: to create a dedicated, private haven for men's pelvic health in the DFW area. We intentionally established our practice in a small, comfortable setting to ensure every session is completely one-on-one, providing the discretion and personalized attention this deeply personal area of health deserves. Here, we are exclusively committed to helping men reclaim their function, and confidence through expert, compassionate, and specialized pelvic floor therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • In Texas, you can access physical therapy through direct access without a physician referral. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for coverage. We recommend checking with your insurance provider beforehand.

  • We accept only Blue Cross Blue Shield. We are an out-of-network provider for other insurers, which allows us to dedicate a full hour to one-on-one care without restrictions. We provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service.

  • Please complete your intake forms online before your appointment. Bring a list of your medications, any relevant medical reports or imaging results, and wear appropriate clothing as noted above. Most importantly, come with your questions—we are here to help.

  • Wear comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing. Choose something simple to change in and out of.

  • You are always in control. You can say "no" to any part of the exam or ask to end it at any point. Your therapist will explain all interactions beforehand, and you are encouraged to ask questions.

  • Not necessarily. Internal exams are only performed when clinically appropriate and with your full consent. You are always in control and can decline any part of the examination. Your therapist will discuss what’s recommended for your specific condition and answer all your questions first.

  • The internal exam should not be painful. Your therapist uses gentle techniques and will communicate with you throughout. If you experience discomfort, let your therapist know immediately so they can adjust their approach.

  • Your feelings are completely normal and understood. We focus solely on your musculoskeletal health in a professional, clinical manner. You set the pace, and our goal is to ensure you feel in control, respected, and at ease throughout the entire process.

  • Absolutely. All medical information you share is protected under HIPAA laws. We are committed to creating a private, judgment-free space. Your comfort and confidentiality are our top priorities.

  • The number of sessions varies greatly depending on your individual condition, goals, and consistency with home exercises. After your initial evaluation, your therapist will provide a recommended treatment plan and estimated timeline based on your specific case.

  • Your initial evaluation typically lasts 60-90 minutes. This allows adequate time for a thorough assessment, discussion of your concerns and goals, and development of your personalized treatment plan.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to bring a support person who can wait in the spacious lobby area. If you’d like them present during your session, please discuss this with your therapist—in most cases, this can be accommodated.

  • We offer self-pay options and can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We believe in transparent pricing and will discuss all costs upfront.

  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a $50 fee. We understand emergencies happen—please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Yes, we offer virtual therapy options for appropriate cases, subject to insurance coverage. This can be particularly beneficial for follow-up visits, exercise instruction, or for patients who experience claustrophobia in clinical settings.

  • Our office is located in the Caddo Office Reimagined building in Flower Mound, TX, on the second floor, Suite 247. Upon entering through the main lobby, take the elevator to the second floor. After exiting, turn left, then right, left, and finally another left. A seating area is available nearby if you arrive early. If the door displays a “Please Don’t Disturb” sign, the therapist is with another patient. Text us at 214-425-0236 with questions or to inform us of your arrival.
